CD 7 Repair Report

CD 7 was originally constructed in 1901 and consisted of approximately 33,580 linear feet of open ditch.  A major improvement was completed in the early 1990’s that lengthened the open ditch and installed side inlets along the ditch. In 2009 part of the northwest quarter of Section 20 of Lake George Township was re-established as what is believed to be native wetland. In 2010 a watershed boundary petition was filed between the Sauk River Watershed District and the North Fork Crow River Watershed District. In 2012 a realignment was requested in the southeast quarter of Section 20 of Lake George Township. In 2014 a repair request was made for the main ditch system. Numerous repairs and realignments have been made to the system however not all are clearly documented and represented in the record. Currently, the system consists of 69,300 linear feet of open ditch.
